About Siobhán

I come from a creative background (parents are Ben & June Mullarkey). I achieved A level Art but went on a very different path and luckily have returned to all things creative. After needle felting for the last 9 yrs, my style is whimsical & anthropomorphic-I love bringing to life characters I imagine are all around us or that are a reflection in some way, of the person commissioning. It is a very organic process-I don't normally have control of the character that develops. It has also been my immense privilege to have had a recent royal commission. I've also recently returned to more traditional art media such as watercolours and acrylic large format painting.
